Who We Are
We're Juicy Details — a UK car cleaning brand built by someone who actually gives a damn about their car. No fluff, no filler, just genuinely good products that do what they say on the tin.
Our Story
Back when Jay Godbold was running The Finer Detailing Company in Hemel Hempstead, the original Juicy founder started selling him products. Jay used them on clients' cars, fell in love with the range, and eventually did something most customers don't — he bought the company.
That was about ten years ago. A professional detailer who knew exactly what a good product needed to do, buying a brand he'd already put to the test on real cars with real clients. Not a business decision made in a spreadsheet. A gut decision made on a driveway.
After taking over Juicy Details, Jay rebranded his detailing business as Juicy Car Care and relocated from Hemel Hempstead to Worthing, where he's been based ever since. The detailing business grew into ceramic coatings and paint protection. The product brand grew alongside it. And the whole thing stayed connected — same person, same standards, same obsession with getting it right.
Every product in the Juicy Details range has been used in the real world, on real cars, by someone who cares about the finish as much as you do. That hasn't changed from day one.
Why We're Different
There are plenty of car care brands out there with big budgets, clever packaging and influencer deals. We're not that.
What we are is a small brand with a genuine love of car care and no interest in selling you something that doesn't deliver. When we put Gloss Bathe, Rain Aid or Bleeding Iron out there with our name on it, we're standing behind them — because we've used them ourselves. If something's not good enough, it doesn't make the cut.
We're also out there in person. You'll find us at car shows most weekends, next door to the Juicy Sweets stall, talking to car owners about their pride and joy. That's not a marketing strategy, that's just who we are.
