Juicy Details Car Wash Bucket

A proper detailing bucket with the depth, durability, and capacity to handle a full wash session. Not a garden bucket or a DIY store special — a bucket built for the job. Works as your suds bucket or your rinse bucket in a two-bucket wash setup, which is the correct way to wash a car if you don't want to introduce swirl marks every time you wash.

How to use: For best results, use two buckets — one for your shampoo solution, one for rinsing. Add 20–30ml of Gloss Bathe (or your preferred shampoo) to the wash bucket and fill with warm water using a high-pressure jet to activate the suds. Fill the rinse bucket with clean water only. After washing a panel with your mitt, dunk the mitt into the rinse bucket and rub it against a grit guard (if fitted) to release the dirt before loading it back into the shampoo bucket. This keeps your shampoo water clean and drastically reduces the chance of washing contamination back across the paint.

Tip: Pair with a grit guard insert — it sits in the bottom of the bucket and stops loose dirt swirling back up into the water. A small addition that makes a significant difference to wash quality.
